Course content
1. Architecture of the 15th century in Tuscany 2-3. Painting of the15th century in Italy. 4. Sculpture of the 15th century in Italy 5. Michelangelo Buonarroti. 6. Raphael Santi. 7. Raphael Circuit, Consequences of Sacco di Roma, Fontainebleau School. 8. Italian architecture of the High and Late Renaissance. 9. Florentine and Roman Mannerism. 10. Venetian Mannerism. 11. 15th and 16th century painting in Flanders. 12. Albrecht Dürer, Lucas Cranach st., Danube School painting. 13. Sculpture of the Danube School, Wittelsbach City Residence in Landshut.

Learning outcomes
The main features and personalities of the renaissance art in Italy and behind the Alps from 15th to 16th century. Periodisation, historical typology of architectural forms, basic teoretical aspects in broader context. Development survey of architecture, sculpture, painting accenting the most famous works of renaissance artists.

Prerequisites
A test verifying the knowledge of the subject matter and professional literature from the whole issue. Attendance at least 80%.
