The aim of the course is to present the material and methodological diversity of research on European art from 1750 to 1900 through analyses of selected topics from the history of architecture, sculpture and painting originating in the Czech lands and other territories of the Austrian monarchy, as well as German states, France, Great Britain or Russia.
Orientation in the issues of artistic and architectural creation of the specific period in the Czech lands and major European art centres; developing skills of reception and interpretation of works of art. |
