Learning outcomes
One-semester seminar is concentrated to selected themes from the history of painting, sculpture and applied art of 20th century European avant-garde. Allows in particular a closer look at the theoretical and artistic contributions of personalities active on significant German and Czech avant-garde schools (Grossherzogliche Kunstgewerbeschule Weimar, Bauhaus, Akademie für Kunst und Kunstgewerbe Breslau, School of Artistic Crafts Bratislava) in the broad context of the development of modern painting, sculpture and applied art first half of the 20th century.
Deeper knowledge of development of the european avant-garde painting, sculpture and applied art in the first half of the 20th century.
Prerequisites
It´s necessary to finish folowing lectures before attending this seminar (DVU/D17K1, DVU/D17K2, DVU/A17D1, DVU/A17D2, DVU/D18K1, DVU/D18K2, DVU/AMAK1).

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Seminar Work

Participation in seminars. Elaboration of seminar work of 5-10 pages on a selected topic related to the issue, which pays attention to the lecture series DVU/AMAK1. Presentation of seminar work, active participation in the discussion.
