Learning outcomes
Familiarization with criteria that are often used in peer review of the manuscripts and project applications. Familiarization with various types of plagiarism. Intensive practice on paraphrasing skills to avoid plagiarism. Intensive practice on presentation skills for participation in scientific meetings/conferences. Intensive practice on critical thinking to provide constructive feedback. A written exam for paraphrasing English texts. A presentation exam on the Ph.D. dissertation topic. Students will be asked to work on weekly writing tasks and present their dissertation projects.
