The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the issues of science and research management, their evaluation and financing. The student will gain a basic overview of project management issues, which will enable him/her to submit and manage his/her own project applications. The student will also gain information on scientometrics. Students will become familiar with information systems in the field of science and research (CEP, RIV), terminology and requirements for preparing grant applications and gain an understanding of grant agencies and other providers of grant funding with a focus on the issue of quintanthropology in the Czech Republic and the EU. Students will be presented with the requirements for the preparation and management of the project (project objectives, eligible costs, human resources, preparation of the timetable, processing and preparation of the project outputs, partial and final reports). Students will be familiarized with the rules of registration of the results of creative activity at UP. Students will be presented with the valid methodology of evaluation of the results of science and research in the Czech Republic.
