The main aim of the course is to learn and understand the importance of ethical (moral) principles in all phases of research (including the publication of research results), respecting the conditions and factors given by the research environment. The course has three main objectives: a) to understand the necessity of an ethical approach in the field of scientific research; b) to know and be able to apply the knowledge from documents related to research ethics; c) to apply an ethical approach in research in the field of kinanthropology (with a focus on the psychological, pedagogical, philosophical field), including the specificities of the environment, focus, human participants, etc. Main topics: - Fundamentals of ethics of scientific work and principles of research. - Basic documents related to research ethics (international, Czech, university, faculty level), their importance. - Code of ethics for academic and professional staff of Palacký University in Olomouc. - Specifics of the approach in research involving persons with disabilities, children, individuals at risk of social exclusion, etc. - Informed consent, its forms, meaning and principles. - Ethical aspects and standards of psychological research. - GDPR in research. - The personality of the researcher and the risks of 'involvement'.
