The aim of the course is the continuous independent research activity of the doctoral student focused on solving the topic of the dissertation in accordance with the fulfillment of tasks that are set in the individual study plan of the doctoral student and given by the instructions of the supervisor, especially: - updating the research on the dissertation topic, - improving the use of research tools (equipment) and other research procedures, - independent experimental and research work, - processing and critical evaluation of the data obtained, including the use of appropriate evaluation and statistical methods in the context of the problem to be solved, - regular presentation of the obtained data to the supervisor, - preparation of documents for presentation of results (seminars, conferences, publications).
