This course prepares students for ethically responsible practice of the legal profession with an emphasis on promoting sustainability and fulfilling specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students will acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to address ethical challenges in the modern legal environment, enabling them to actively contribute to positive social change. After completing the course "Professional Ethics and Responsibility of Lawyers in the Context of Sustainability," students will be able to apply the ethical and sustainable principles they have learned in various professional situations. In legal practice, they will be able to face complex problems where they will have to consider not only the legal aspects but also the ethical implications and sustainability of the proposed solutions. For example, when providing legal advice to businesses, they will be able to propose strategies that are consistent with ESG principles and contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals. This will support them in creating responsible business practices and ensuring compliance with sustainability standards. They will be able to address ethical dilemmas in the international legal environment and contribute to the fulfillment of goals such as reducing inequalities or promoting peace and justice.
