Obtaining elementary language skills in Italian for students with little or no initial knowledge of the language. The aim of the course is to master the basics of grammar and to acquire professional vocabulary in Italian in a practical way so that students are able to communicate, e.g. during their stay in Italy, without problems. The lessons will focus on all forms of communication: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Student's level of proficiency (according to CEFR B1+): The language user understands the main ideas of comprehensible written input relating to common topics he/she encounters regularly at work, school, leisure, etc. Can cope with most situations that may arise when travelling in the area where the language is spoken. Can write a simple, coherent text on topics he/she knows well or is personally interested in. The language user can describe his/her experiences and events, dreams, hopes and goals and can explain and justify his/her opinions and plans in a concise manner.
