Course content
To improve knowledge of Czech, broaden vocabulary, introduce medical terminology and phrases necessary for the communication with patients, read simple medical texts. Topics: human body, diseases, symptoms, pains, injuries, examination of a patient, case history taking, history taking according to systems - cardiovascular, respiratory.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Methods of Written Work, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Improving the knowledge of basic Czech and making students familiar with the basic medical terminology; learning to read and understand simple medical texts in the Czech language.
Students will be able to use Czech during their studies when communicating with patients.
Prerequisites
Knowledge obtained in Czech I and Czech II.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Written exam, Analysis of linguistic, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student

Students who want to meet the credit requirements must take a written test and have a minimum score of 66 %. They are expected to participate actively in class, complete homework assignments and perform successfully on practice tests. Students are also required to attend class regularly.
