Course content
1. Symptomatology of plant diseases - abionosis, virosis, bacteriosis, mycoses. 2. Diseases of cereals and corn - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 3. Diseases of potatoes - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 4. Beet disease - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 5. Diseases of cruciferous vegetables - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 6. Disease of leaf Vegetables - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 7. Diseases of root vegetables - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 8. Vegetable vegetable diseases - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 9. Diseases of fruit vegetables - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. 10. Diseases of onion vegetables - infection agents, symptoms of disease, protection. The practical part of the lessons will be held in the reconstructed glasshouses of the Department of Botany.

Learning outcomes
Take up with the basics of plant diseases symptomatology, and to discuss diseases of cereals, corn, potatoes, beets and vegetables.
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - name causers of biotic diseases of plants - recognize symptoms of diseased plants - recognize the most important plant diseases
