Course content
|
An example of lectures: Haiku This course introduces Japanese haiku, providing an overview of its development, typical features and well-known poets (in the context of Japanese culture and literature, traditional as well as contemporary). After the theoretical introduction students read and analyze Japanese haiku and finally, try to compose their own poems, which they present at the end of the course.

Learning outcomes
|
The content of this course changes based on the specialization of the visiting professor. The lectures are organized as a standard 1-semester course, i.e. 2 hours per week, or as a series of lectures or seminars given within 1 or 2 weeks.
Students will have received lectures by a visiting professor, which are normally offered for Japanese university students. They will have enhanced their knowledge in the area of the selected topics.
