Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the problems of modern China from the period of one hundred days of reform in 1898 until the Second World War. The lecture also introduces a basic bibliography on the issue of modern China, while China is historiographical and cultural terminology. Emphasis is put on the connotations of the historical events and cultural phenomena, their interpretation in Chinese and world scientific literature. An integral part of the course is also referred to the problems of history and present of Czech-China relations (foreign, cultural, military, etc.).
