Course content
Analysis of Chinese literary works in chronological order. We shall continue from were we had stopped at the end of the Fall semester.

Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to introduce important works / authors of old Chinese literature, explain the chronological development, and make clear the different understanding of genres.
Successful completion of XWX1.
Prerequisites
Active study of Chinese writing system.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay, Didactic Test

Students have to read selected literary works beforehand. During the academic year, everyone will be given a short assingment, to be handed in in 2 weeks. This semester, the knowledge of the authors´ names and their works in Chinese is required, and checked by short home assignments and tests. Attendance is necessary, only 3 absences will be tolerated.
