Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty s problematikou slova a významu v moderní čínštině se zaměřením se na aspekty, jež v komparativní perspektivě tvoří významné odlišnosti v základní výstavbě plánů jazyka. Zaměřuje se na samotnou definici slova a lexému, problematiku lexikální analýzy, problematiku lexikální syntézy - lexikografie i paradigmatickým vztahům mezi slovy v rámci sémantiky i nadslovní sémantice.
Instruction is focused on clarifying the basic concepts of general linguistics. The emphasis is particularly on the concepts and terms used in comparative and historical grammar of the 19th century, linguistic structuralism, generative grammar, sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics. In addition, the student is thoroughly familiar with the subject of study of linguistic disciplines (especially phonetics, morphology, syntax, lexicology and semantics), the basic linguistic issues: language and its functions, language development, language learning, etc. The character is also included an overview of the development of linguistic theories with emphasis on the major current trends in modern linguistics.
