1. Chinese characters: the development of characters over the external page (development of characters from the first written texts till present) 2. Learning outcomes

The course in each of the three semesters evaluated by three credits: the aim is to introduce students to a beginning of the Chinese system of graphics and consolidate their knowledge of Chinese characters, graphic, so that they can separate analysis of image units of Chinese character fonts. The target is implemented in two stages: first, students are introduced to the structure of Chinese graphemes generally followed them during the first two semesters in selected most frequent 500 units explained their etymology, which will facilitate learners to follow memorization. In the third semester is discussed further 500 units of character with an emphasis on the ability of the active combinations and reading. At the same time, differences between written and spoken language are pointed out and the ability to apply both is developed. The course is a necessary complement courses Geography of China, Chinese Grammar, Chinese Prosody, Introduction to Chinese Studies and as a necessary starting point for Reading text 1,2 and Chinese Lexicology. Credits are awarded on the basis of a written knowledge test. The course requirements also include continuous testing of the curriculum and character exercise assignments. Oral exam verifies the ability to read and work with the Chinese character text of given range.
The aim is to strengthen knowledge of attestation image of Chinese characters, so that students have been able to separate image analysis unit of Chinese character fonts: 500 Characters are discussed within first two semesters with emphasis on units active their ability to analyzis and reading.

The course is designed for students of bachelor study I. Block Field CHINESE PHILOLOGY. The trainees of this course is expected discharge attestation Gramatologie Chinese 1.

Mark, Oral exam, Written exam
Credits are awarded on the basis of a written knowledge test. The course requirements also include weekly testing of the curriculum and character exercise assignments. Oral exam at the end of the second semesters focuses on reading comprehension.
