Learning outcomes
Credits are granted for successful completion of HSK test or TOCFL test. HSK - Test of Chinese as a foreign language is a project of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of ensuring verification of Chinese language skills at the official level similarly to other world languages (eg. TOEFL). TOCFL is an official Chinese language proficiency test administered by Taiwanese Steering Committee for the Test Of Proficiency - Huayu. Graduates of the BA degree are expected to reach HSK level 4/ TOCFL A2-B1, MA students are expected to reach HSK level 6/ TOCFL B1-B2. To successfully fulfil requirements of this course, BA students are requested to obtain HSK certificate of min. level 3/ TOCFL min. level A2, MA students need to reach min. HSK level 5/ TOCFL B1. Original HSK/ TOCFL certificates need to be presented. Students are recommended to participate in a preparatory course ASH/HSK3/4/5 for HSK exam.
HSK certificate entitles you to study at a university in the PRC. At the same time the Chinese state and private companies are required to confirm a sufficient level of Chinese language in recruitment.

Successful discharge of language courses that type studies in Chinese philology.
