Learning outcomes |
The seminar provides students with general information about how to navigate in information institutions and resources. Students become familiar with the funds and services available from the library, Palacky University, or from the IP address of UP. Students will acquire knowledge that will allow it to locate relevant resources for the needs of scientific work, and primarily in the electronic information resources (EIR). It will focus mainly on China's electronic information resources and at the end of the course on the analysis of data in MS Excel, which provides a strong base for data processing. The course is also working with lists, filtering data by different criteria, and use graphs in presenting data. Aim of the seminar is to gain orientation in an ever-increasing number and types of EIR using various kinds of the search techniques and appropriate data processing and presentation. |
