Learning outcomes
The seminar aims to develop practical teaching competencies required for planning, delivering, and reflecting on instruction. Students learn to formulate learning objectives and design structured lesson plans that take into account both the subject matter and learners' educational needs. They develop the ability to select and apply appropriate teaching methods and forms of classroom organisation and to design differentiated learning activities. The seminar also focuses on different approaches to assessment, self-assessment, and feedback, as well as on the development and reflection of students' own teaching materials and the meaningful use of digital technologies in education. Students are encouraged to make connections between subject-specific content, other disciplines, real-world phenomena, and everyday life. The seminar also provides opportunities for students to reflect on their role as teachers, their professional development, and strategies that support teachers' long-term wellbeing and professional sustainability.
