Course content
|
- Initial introduction of chemistry teacher education students to chemistry didactics - Discussion on chemistry teaching, primarily at the upper secondary school level - Lectures by primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary teachers and discussion of future teaching practice - Lectures by experts in inorganic chemistry and chemistry didactics - Discussion of research topics for teacher education programs at the Faculty of Science, Palacký University - Literature search and discussion of a peer-reviewed research article published in an impacted journal focusing on chemistry didactics - Independent presentation of selected curriculum content within the scope of the Framework Educational Programme (RVP) for upper secondary school chemistry

|
The student will be acquainted with the basic specifics of chemistry instruction, the professional role of the chemistry teacher at lower and upper secondary levels, and the possibilities of pedagogical research in chemistry didactics.
