Field trips to selected chemical and technological facilities in the Czech Republic, taking place on selected days during the winter semester, or alternatively during the credit week. The field trips are aimed at introducing students to the practical operation of chemical and technological facilities, the technologies used, production processes, and the organization of work in professional practice. The field trips include expert presentations by staff of the facilities visited and provide students with an opportunity to relate theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies to its practical application.
The student understands the practical application of knowledge acquired during their studies and is able to relate it to the real-world professional environment. The student gains a basic overview of the functioning of the visited institutions, workplaces, or facilities and their areas of professional focus. The student is able to formulate their own observations and reflect on the experience gained during the field trip in relation to the professional focus of their studies.
