| Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to introduce students to modern analytical techniques used in clinical laboratories, the specific requirements of laboratory diagnostics, and the procedures for evaluating and interpreting clinical laboratory results.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to explain the fundamental principles of analytical techniques used in clinical analytical chemistry and clinical biochemistry, design analytical procedures for the determination of biomarkers of selected diseases, and interpret the obtained results. |
| Prerequisites |
Knowledge of the fundamentals of bioanalytical methods and instrumental analytical techniques is recommended.
| Assessment methods and criteria |
Written exam
Course credit is awarded based on a written assignment focused on designing a solution to a specific practical problem in clinical analysis. The examination is conducted in written form, and a minimum score of 60% is required to pass. |
