Key learning outcomes The aim of the Bc. degree Petroleum Engineering study program is to educate graduates for jobs in exploration and production of oil and gas, deep gas storage, and the exploitation of geothermal energy. In addition, the program prepares students for the changes in the energy sector, and its transition to alternative and renewable energy sources. Graduates will be equipped with good theoretical knowledge of, and field, laboratory and computation skills in the disciplines of petroleum geoscience and engineering, hydrocarbons exploration, production, and exploitation of geothermal energy. Graduates will be prepared for Master's studies in the same or related discipline.
