Key learning outcomes The aim of the programme is to educate specialists capable of analysing and interpreting the structures and functions of biomolecules at an advanced level and applying this knowledge in both basic and applied research. The programme is designed to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills in an environment equipped with modern instrumentation and shaped by international collaboration. Students will acquire theoretical foundations in molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, experimental skills necessary for the preparation and characterisation of biomolecules, principles and applications of major structural biology methods, the ability to use bioinformatics tools for modelling and data interpretation, the competence to address complex scientific problems, critically evaluate results and present them to the scientific community. The programme guides students towards independent scientific work and prepares them both for employment in academic and industrial sectors and for further study at the doctoral level.
