Key learning outcomes
|
Upon completing the course, participants will: understand the concept of internationalisation and how it relates to their professional role, recognise their indispensable role within the institution and be able to actively contribute to the process of internationalisation at Palacký University (or at their respective higher education institution), be aware of Palacký University?s activities in the field of internationalisation, including mobility opportunities, be familiar with key global trends in internationalisation and understand their possible implications for their work, acquire knowledge and tools that will enable them to effectively contribute to internationalisation processes within their institution, have an increased awareness of the key role of non-academic staff in developing internationalisation strategies and supporting international students and staff, become actively engaged in internationalisation initiatives and be more motivated to implement change, be aware of intercultural differences as well as the issue of stereotyping, develop stronger intercultural competences, better understand cultural differences, work with them effectively, and contribute to creating an inclusive university environment, be able to interact with culturally diverse groups or individuals without judgement, be capable of applying practical skills to work more effectively in international and multicultural settings, be able to act in a supportive manner that respects the feelings of people from other cultural backgrounds, be able to design, present, and implement an activity aimed at improving the international environment within their workplace (position, department, section, etc.).
