Key learning outcomes The Bachelor's study programme is focused on acquiring the general basic knowledge and skills necessary for a historian's work in a professional way (courses aimed at getting teaching qualifications are excluded). The single-major differs from a double-majorprogramme not in courses but their breadth, depth and complexity, written papers and exams.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples A graduate of Bachelor's studies in History is prepared for practical application of gained knowledge and experience in historian's profession at museums, archives, institutes for culture and history, editorial staff, publishing houses etc. He is acquainted with history from protohistoric period up to the present as regards world, national and regional history. He has knowledge of auxiliary sciences of history, from a wide range of offered specialized courses. A graduate should be capable of basic independent work in this field, oral as well as written one.
