|
The aim of the bachelor study programme is to equip the graduate with a set of mathematical knowledge and skills, methods and procedures in mathematics through which he/she will be able to understand and reflect the needs of mathematics and mathematical approach for solving the actual problems of the reality. In accordance with the requirements of the practice, the basic aim of the study field is to prepare students for their future position in the educational or other professions. This implies the necessity of mastering the disciplines of mathematics, the fundamentals of pedagogy, psychology, informatics and other general subjects.

Bachelor's degree graduate acquires vocational / theoretical knowledge of basic mathematical disciplines, especially subjects of State Final Bachelor Exam. He/she acquires basic orientation in the structure of mathematics as a subject of lower secondary school and practical skills to solve mathematical problems of school mathematics and gain basic knowledge of pedagogy and psychology. He knows the technical support and multimedia learning resources with potential application in education and outreach to other areas. He/she is equipped with the knowledge of a foreign language.
