Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the Bachelor study programme is to equip the students with sufficient knowledge of Czech language and literature. In accordance with the requirements on practice, the preparation of the students for their future careers in education or in other professions seems to be the fundamental aim of this study programme. This implies mastering the disciplines such as the Czech language and culture, including literature, speech and communication skills, basic education, psychology, computer science and other subjects of the foundation.

Student will be equipped with knowledge in philology and literary disciplines. Students are primarily prepared to continue their studies in the Master's programme. Graduates of MA programme will gain access to the profession of teacher. The knowledge and skills acquired in the Bachelor's degree programme may be applied for example in libraries, educational centers and institutions dealing with the leisure activities of children and youth or as an officer in the social departments of public administration.
