Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduates of Bachelor's double-major programme in Czech Philology have a good level of orientation in basic disciplines of the field of study. Competences acquired: a) the ability to demonstrate theoretical and practical orientation in diachronic and synchronic approaches to language; b) orientation in basic historical trends in literary development and the ability to apply acquired literary theoretical knowledge to interpretation of works of art; c) mastering the basics of editorial preparation of texts in practice; The graduates of Bachelor's double-major programme in Czech Philology may apply in media (TV, radio, editorial offices of periodicals), libraries, cultural facilities of various types and in state administration - particularly as specialists in editing Czech texts of all kinds. After completing studies, the graduates may (if they pass the entrance exams) continue studying Master's degree in the same field.
