Introduction to animal species identification. Training of the use of identification keys, training of the identification of the commonest species of Invertebrates to the level of the order, family, genus and species.

Introduction to animal species identification. Work with identification keys, training of the identification of basic groups of invertebrates
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - use different types of identification keys - demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles of nomenclature and classification; - identify local representatives of Arthropods to the species level using identification keys - recognize the most important orders and suborders of Arthropods - recognize and name the most important body parts of Arthropods |
