Learning outcomes
Systematics, phylogeny, morphology, physiology and ecology of Molluscs
Student is able to (after attending the course): - Characterise the Molluscs - Describe the basic life strategies of molluscs and their role in ecosystems - Characterize the typical aquatic and terrestrial snail communities of ČR - Determine model species of molluscs - Use basic methods in malacological research
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of zoological system of invertebrates. Field experiences.
Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam
Credit: 80% attendance, protocols from the field experiment, determination of model species Exam: 1. test - 3 randomly selected questions in extent of the lectures, at least 2/3 of maximum points. 2. determination test - at least 12 correctly determined taxa out of 18
