Lesson - Language focus 1. Shopping for gifts - The dative of nouns and adjectives 2. Selecting a gift - Predicate adjectives 3. Books - The accusative of plural forms 4. Books - The instrumental of adjectives, pronoun "věs´", noun "vremja" 5. Hobbies - Verb "igrať", verbs of motion 6. Sport - Verbs of motion: Past Tense 7. Review - Review 8. Poetry - Declension of surnames, numbers 100-million 9. Fall - Days, months, seasons, date 10. Pushkin - Biography; The prepositional and instrumental cases of plural forms 11. Learning outcomes
The objective of VCJ/R2 is to develop language skills of general Russian at level A2-B1 and is for pre-intermediate students. It focuses on building vocabulary and re-enforcing effective usage of elementary Russian grammar.
Acquisition of language knowledge on the A2-B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the language on the A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Students are required to attend the classes although they may be absent twice per semester and they must participate in an active way. They must prepare for the classes as required by their teachers. They must successfully pass the ungraded evaluation.
