Course content
-Internal and external photoeffect -PIN and avalanche photodiodes, regimes of operation, electronic setups -Photomultipliers -Noises of detectors -CCD camera -Fast photodetectors -Streak camera -Autocorrelation methods -Full diagnostics of ultrashort light pulses -Detectors with single-photon sensitivity -Photon-counting detectors -Image intensifiers -Intensified CCD camera -Electron-multiplying CCD camera -Multiplexing detectors with delay loops -Special detection structures for quantum optics -Sources of photons for quantum optics -Sources of weak coherent states -Superpoissonian sources -Subpoissonian sources -Single-photon sources -Applications of sources and detectors of single photons
