Course content
Principles of metabolic disorders, free radicals pathobiochemistry, oxidizing stress Pathobiochemistry of sacharides, hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, diabetes mellitus Pathobiochemistry of lipids and lipoproteins, metabolic syndrome, liposis, atherosclerosis Pathobiochemistry of amino acids and proteins, inherited errors of metabolism, nutrition, urea, prions Pathobichemistry of intestinal environment changes, water-economy disorders, acid-base balance disorders Pathobiochemistry of ions metabolism, kalium, natrium, calcium, magnesium, ferrum, microelements Pathobiochemistry of tetrapyrroles, porphyrins and bilirubine, icterus Purines and pyrimidines pathobiochemistry, uric acid, gout (metabolic arthritis) Pathobiochemistry of digestion and nutrition, malnutrition Vitamins and hormones pathobiochemistry, metabolism of ethanol Kidney functionality pathobiochemistry Hepatic functionality pathobiochemistry and exocrine functions of pancreas Respiratory chains pathobiochemistry Muscular, myocardium and CNS process pathobiochemistry Evidence based medicine (EBM) Internal and external quality controls used in medical laboratories. Parameters of quality of laboratories examinations and their utilization for evaluation of laboratories outcomes.
