Course content |
1. Rational and combinatorial approach in drug development, chemical synthesis libraries. 2. Rational design of inhibitors of protein - protein interactions 3. Rational drug design to overcome drug resistance 4. Biomimetics 5. Chemical synthesis of peptides and peptide libraries and their testing. 6. Molecular modeling, prediction of the interaction of small molecules and proteins. 7. Software tool for analysis of cellular pathways, data types and formats of expression profiling. 8. Data visualisation chemical biology, SAR analysis and interpretation 9. Chemical genetics / SCIBS, genomics, methods, and applications, nucleic acids and their interaction with small molecules. 10. Protein expression , rational design of proteins, phage display. 11. Proteomics, proteomic methods in search of targets of small molecules, DARTS, SILAC, immunoaffinity purification. 12. PCR, RT-PCR validation of targets, mutagenesis, zinc-finger nucleases, microarrays and their use in chemical biology
