Course content
|
Public administration in the historical, international and Czech context. Theory of public administration. Development trajectories of public administration in the area of the Czech Republic before and after the year 1989. Municipalities and self-governance in the Czech Republic: position, competences, spatial development. Regional levels of public administration, administrative regions, cohesion areas. Central level of public administration. International and supranational context of public administration.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with the basic features and concepts of public administration both in general and specifically in the Czech context.
Students are capable of providing the characteristics of the basic features and concepts of public administration.
