Course content
Regularities of biota distribution on the Earth; factors and conditions of environment; origin and development of contemporary ecosystems; biogeographical division of the Czech Republic; nature protection in the CR; introduced animal and plant species in the CR; projects for conservation and protection of natural wealth of the CR.

Learning outcomes
Students will actively extend their knowledge in biogeography.
Explain relations in biogeography, deepen active knowledge.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope of compulsory subjects that precede this subject in the study plan.
