Learning outcomes
|
Lectures are aimed at the theory of didactic games and competitions (definition, typology). Students will be acquainted with different types of didactic games (simple educational games, interactive and multimedia games, board games, simulation games, outdoor games etc.) as well as with advantages and pitfalls of using educational games in the classroom. Students will also learn how to create their own educational games. The course is recommended to students, who want to become teachers.
1. Students will learn how to orient in the theory of didactic games and competitions (definition, typology) 2. Students will learn the advantages and pitfalls of the use of educational games in the classroom 3. Students will learn how to use educational games in teaching geography 4. Students will be able to understand existing educational games, they will be able to use or appropriately adapted these games for specific situations (specific class, year, pupils, environment-study curriculum, etc.) 5. Students will be able to create their own educational games of different types (desktop, simulation etc.).

Elementary knowledge in general didactics, English language on the communicative level.
