The content of the course: Geographical-political position of the Czech Republic; historical-geographical development of Czech lands; basic physical-geographical characteristics; basic human-geographical characteristics. The course includes also a one-day field trip to a touristically attractive locality.

The aim of the subject is to provide students with the basic knowledge of the physical and human geography of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the subject, students should be able to identify main geographical phenomena and spatial organization of the Czech Republic.

|
Známkou, Písemná zkouška, Didaktický test, Seminární práce
Requirements: active participation in lessons, knowledge from lessons and recommended literature, a presentation on the chosen Czech region. The subject is completed by a written exam.
