Course content
|
The following topics will be discussed: the topic of local region in the framework and school educational programmes, local region in geography textbooks and the current state of teaching about local region at primary and secondary schools, interdisciplinary approaches towards teaching about local region, methods and forms useful in teaching about local region, geographical field trip (planning, realization).

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to introduce students to the topic of local region in teaching geography at primary and secondary schools, including application of apropriate teaching forms and its interdisciplinary approach.
Application of the topic of local region in its interdisciplinary as well as solely geographical concept into education at primary and secondary schools.

Prerequisites
|
Fundamentals of the didactics of geography, regional geography of the Czech Republic.
