Course content
Diverse topics of rural geography dealing with specifities of rural space, possibilities of further development will be analysed and discussed. Special attention is paid to area of the Czech Republic. Also applied level of study will be taken account - rural development and regional policy - institutions, aims, tools, strategic documents etc.

Learning outcomes
Aim of the course is furnish to students basic knowledge to dynamic and spatial differentiation of processes, phenomena that took place in rural space.
Identify main geographical phenomena and spatial organization of rural space.
