Course content
Course deals with the following issues: analytical tools of GIS and their application in regional research; use of remote sensing at the regional level; financial costs GIS solution at the regional level; internet/intranet applications in public administration and self-government; municipal information systems; technologies of map servers and their application at the self-government level; electronic questionnaire campaigns; financial costs of GIS technology introduction at the regional level.

Learning outcomes
Acquire knowledge of advanced tools of GIS software ArcGIS 10.x.
Apply practically GIS methods in regional geography.
Prerequisites
Ability to work independently on the computer. Standard user of ArcGIS software.
