Course content |
Course deals with fundamentals of the disciplines. The following topics are discussed: basic data sources; geographical distribution of population; natural population reproduction; migrations and other forms of spatial population mobility; social, economic and cultural population structure; population prognoses; historical development of settlement structure; urbanization process; delimitation of urban and rural settlements; functional classification of settlements; inner structure and organization of cities, rural settlement.
