Course content
Students will be acquainted with solid set of knowledge in these issues: basic characteristic of the Earth's atmosphere, air pollution and its sources, meteorological conditions and their influence on spatial distribution of pollutants, atmospheric chemistry in connection to pollutants, influence of polluted atmosphere on health condition of the population and on ecosystems, monitoring of air quality in the CR, legal protection of atmosphere, air quality in the CR, international aspects of air conservation.

  • Homework for Teaching - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at the fundamentals of air conservation with emphasis on its geographic aspects.
Recall basic terms and concepts used in air conservation.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope of compulsory subjects that precede this subject in the study plan.
