Course content
|
The course deals with definition of basic terms in cultural geography, is aimed at prehistoric beginnings of the civilization development, includes basic knowledge of individual traits of humankind - language, religion, writing, national composition of the world. It explains development of individual cultural-historical phases from the Ancient times till present. The structure of teaching is aimed at the importance of socio-cultural factors in temporal cross section of regional specifics. The purpose is to provide basic orientation in social and cultural intergration and disintegration processes, which proceed in local or regional communities. The attention is paid to world and Czech cultural heritage as well.
