Course content
|
Course deals with the following issues: didactics of geography as scientific discipline and its position in system of science; development of didactics of geography, didactic system in geography, position of geography in teaching plans of primary and secondary schools, textbooks, maps and atlases, function of a teacher of geography in education process, organisational forms of geographical education, educational methods in geography and their application, evaluation of knowledge and skills in geography, tools for teaching geography. Seminar is a part of the course in which teaching skills are practised.
