Course content
|
Course deals with the following issues: digital data types and sources for work in GIS SW; creation of spatial and attribute data in GIS SW; querrying and searching; cartographic production in GIS SW; technology for data collection in field.

Acquire knovledge of GIS software by standard user.
Apply practically GIS methods in geography.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge in the field of mathematics and information technology at the high school level. Ability to work independently on the computer.

Student performance, Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Seminar Work, Written exam
Active participation in classes, elaboration of seminar work, final examination.
