Course content
Basic concepts of behavioural geography are defined and development of geographical thought in this field presented. Course deals with perception and cognition of environment, time-geography, behavioural geographical aspects of decision-making and spatial behaviour connected with activities such as travel, recreation, leisure, migration, consumption behaviour, localization of productive and non-productive facilities, elections etc. Course also provides information on problems of environmental stress, pathological human behaviour and behavioural aspects of natural and technological hazards and risks.

Learning outcomes
Course is aimed at the problems of spatial behaviour and behaviour in space.
Recall basic terms and concepts in behavioural geography.
Prerequisites
Knowledge in the extent of preceding compulsory subjects in the study plan.

Oral exam, Student performance

Knowledge within the scope of lectures and study literature (basic concepts, understanding of approach emphasizing alternative to economically and spatially rational human behaviour, cognition of selected aspects of spatial human behaviour and behaviour of man in space).
