Basic lecture in geochemistry
The students should be able to: - geochemically classify the elements - explain the basic concepts of thermodynamics of geochemical processes - use phase diagrams for explanation of geological phenomena - describe the inner structure of the Earth from the geochemical point of wiew, and its development - describe geochemistry of magmatic, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks - describe methods of geochemical prospection - explain the role of geochemistry in the preservation of the natural environment
