Course content
Fundamentals of geological mapping. Documentation of geological outcrop, its description, graphical depiction and structural measurements. Statistical methods in geology. Elaboration of written documentation.

Fundamentals of geological mapping.
The students should be able to: - document a geological outcrop and describe it - perform structural measurements and evaluate them using statistical methods for oriented data - assemble the field observations and measurements in a geological map, with legend describing the rock types, and visualization of structural-geologic measurements

Student performance

Passed prerequisite course, 5 dní active presence, presentation of field maps, map manuscript, report on mapping (incl. petrographic description of rocks and visualization of sctructural-geological measurements), corresponding knowledge.
